Education & workshops
Founder of
Kloffie Collectief
In 2024, I founded Kloffie Collectief, an inclusive and sustainable fashion house built around accessibility and community.
During Pride Amsterdam, we organised a workshop for Pride visitors who either did not have the budget for an expensive outfit or wanted a more sustainable alternative. Participants designed and created their own sustainable Pride looks under professional guidance.
The project combined empowerment, sustainability and self expression, offering people the tools to create something personal and meaningful.

Teaching Assistant Fashion Tailor
August 2024 to July 2025
As a Teaching Assistant within the Fashion Tailor program, I supported the lead teacher in preparing lessons and provided hands on guidance during classes.
Students in the MBO Fashion Tailor program learn how to construct a garment from the initial sketch to the final button. They develop pattern drafting skills, collaborate on design decisions and refine their technical craftsmanship behind the sewing machine.
My role focused on strengthening their technical confidence, encouraging precision and helping them translate creative ideas into well constructed garments.
Fashion coach
De Kom
Since 2023, I have been working as a Fashion Coach at DE KOM, the city theatre and arts centre of Nieuwegein.
During Fashionweek Nieuwegein, I guide secondary school students in developing their own fashion projects. They are invited to explore different creative disciplines, including fashion design, music production, dance, choreography, make-up artistry and show production.
The focus lies on creativity, collaboration and the confidence to express who you are.
The process culminates in a spectacular theatre runway show, where the students present their own creations on stage for an audience of friends and family. A moment of pride, growth and collective celebration.

Community project
Coat of many colors
During my time at the Salvation Army, I developed and led several creative projects with participants of sewing atelier Studio Salvation. The Coat of Many Colors was one of them.
Each patch on this kimono was individually designed by a participant during a workshop, expressing their true colors. The final piece was proudly exhibited at the True Colors exhibition at Loods 6.
Community project
Denim wall tapestry
While working at Studio Salvation, the sewing atelier of the Salvation Army Amsterdam, together with the participants we created a wall hanging from recycled denim. Each person was given a denim patch and encouraged to explore their creativity using a technique of their choice. Through this, they learned new fabric manipulation skills and formed meaningful social connections.
The patches were stitched together into a large piece, forming the base for a wall hanging. On top, we added the symbol of Faith, Hope, and Love.
Faith reflects the roots of the Salvation Army. The atelier offers participants a sense of hope, new opportunities, and personal growth — always guided by love.
